Chirag Raman, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, TU Delft

Hi there! I am an Assistant Professor at TU Delft, where I lead the Tapri Lab. My work asks how AI systems can understand and continually adapt within the social worlds they inhabit. I develop multimodal generative models that enable embodied agents to perceive human behavior, reason about the causal dynamics of social interaction, and learn from experience. Outside research, I enjoy indie game development, fantasy fiction, judo, and discovering new places and cultures by bicycle.
